Calling all 7-12 year olds!

Want to try drama but too scared to step on the stage? Fear no more! Join Camilla Gurtler, actor and teacher, in these fun-filled drama sessions which seek to develop skills and build confidence for young actors. It doesn’t matter if you’ve never performed before or if you’re a natural – it’s all about having fun and making friends while learning about performance.

This term will be jam-packed with games and exercises where the students can explore the theatre they want to see and make.

Camilla is a Danish director currently training at Drama Centre London. She has worked extensively with young people over the last couple of years, including as the youth theatre director at Omnibus Theatre for which she has been awarded a Jack Petchy Leadership Award. She has taught theatre in various schools in the UK and abroad, including creating plays with children in Beijing and teaching English through drama in Italy. Camilla’s classes are full of energy, with a focus on empowering young people’s voices through theatre.
